As usual the markets are abuzz about numerous topics that all have an effect on prices for gold, silver and other precious metals. On one end, Congress and the President agree on the terms to keep the federal government going to the tune of another $1 Trillion in spending. On the other side of the pond, the Euro zone continues it wrangling over how it will manage the back breaking sovereign debt that threatens its very survival.
Meanwhile, India’s economy continues to see reduced foreign investment – it’s main source of capital for its expanding industry. China on the other hand is battling domestic policies that have cause revolts in many villages – the government has a nasty habit of stealing the land from its people…
